Our Commitment to Accessibility

The Jackson County Missouri Election Board (JCEB) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities.

  and accessible styling to custom widgets, forms, and third-party plugins so they
  are interpreted correctly by assistive technologies.
• PDF & Document Accessibility:
  We are auditing and remediating our digital library to ensure essential election calendars,
  public notices, and instructional presentations in PDF format are properly tagged
  and structured for screen-reading software.

Known Limitations and Alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, some limitations may exist.

• Third-Party Integrations:
  Some parts of our site rely on third-party tools, plugins, or embedded content
  (such as interactive maps or external forms). We cannot always control the accessibility
  of these tools but will seek accessible alternatives where possible.
